Aging Population Outreach

All across the United States the Baby Boomer generation and individuals experiencing longer life spans are producing an increase in the population of older adults.  Lee County desires to prepare for this population expansion by offering opportunities and services promoting healthy aging and community involvement.  The focus for quality aging will be through volunteer opportunities, health care services for aging well and continuing education.  Training opportunities for volunteers, health care screening support groups and fitness programs will be available.  Another focus offering a broad range of service options will be through agency coordination and funding collaboration.
