Office of the County Manager
The County Manager of Lee County is John A. Crumpton. He is the sixth county manager in Lee County history. The County Manager serves as the chief executive officer of the county government. He is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the Board of Commisssioners. The Manager is charged with administering all county departments under the control of the Board of Commissioners, preparing and submitting the annual budget, and overseeing all county expenditures.
The Clerk to the Board is Gaynell Lee. The Clerk is responsible of the preparation/distribution of meeting agendas, documentation/maintenance of all official minutes and records of the Board of Commissioners. The Clerk also assists the Manager with special projects and other day-to-day office management needs.
