TINY TOTS
Tiny Tots is a preparatory program that promotes social and recreational interaction between children ages 3-5 years old. Your child will learn to listen, recall, follow directions, practice newly acquired skills and solve problems. Age appropriate activities will be offered in academics, language development and physical development. Please be sure that your child is toilet trained before enrolling them into the program.

The ability to interact appropriately with others at an early age is very essential to a child’s life. This can be achieved by participating in fun activities with your child. and engaging in family fitness fun.
Children’s Dance Class
The Children’s Dance program is designed to offer a supervised and structured recreational environment that promotes diversity through several types of dance. Classes are approximately 55 minutes in length with instruction in both tap and ballet.

Happy Day Camp
Happy Day Camp is designed to involve individuals with special needs in recreational activities. One-week sessions are held for different age groups. During camp participants have the opportunity to interact with their peers through activities such as arts and crafts, nature studies, boating, swimming and special field trips.

Disc Golf
An 18-hole disc golf course is located at O.T. Sloan Park. There is no charge to play the course except during tournaments. There is a local Lee County Disc Golf Association that conducts tournaments during much of the year. On Mondays, there is a mixed doubles tournament beginning at 6 p.m. during the year when there is enough daylight usually April-September. A singles tournament is held the 2nd Saturday each month with registrations beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Rotary Club Shelter by the tennis courts. Cost for tournaments range from $3-$5 depending upon the classification of the participant. Classifications range from novice to pro. For more information, contact Chuck at (919)718-0850.
Lee County Senior Games
This program gives senior adults 55 and older the opportunity to interact on a recreational and social level. The participants have the chance to compete in “Olympic” type sporting events as well as heritage, visual and literary art events. Senior games begin and end with spectacular ceremonies to introduce the games and reward the participant’s for their efforts. After winning locally, participants are given the opportunity to compete statewide.

Tennis Court Information
Lee County Parks and Recreation has tennis courts at Kiwanis Children’s Parkplace and O. T. Sloan Park. Lee County Tennis Association offers tennis lessons at O.T. Sloan Park.
