Department Overview:
The Tax Department is responsible for listing, appraising and assessing all real estate, personal property and Registered Motor Vehicles within Lee County. We are also responsible for collecting all current and delinquent taxes on all real and personal properties. In addition to property tax, the department also collects Rental Vehicle Tax, Room Occupancy Tax, Beer & Wine Licensing and issues Mobile Home moving permits.
