Annual Senior Games and Silver Arts of Lee County

The Enrichment Center invites you to join their celebration of healthy aging in Lee County by participating in the annual Senior Games and Silver Arts of Lee County to be held May 11-22, 2009 at various locations in Lee County.  Early Bird registration April 1-23, 2009.  Final registration ends April 30, 2009.  Come join the fun in Olympic style athletic events and artistic competitions.  "As someone who has always enjoyed friendly competition, Senior Games has meant a lot to me.  It is nice to know I can still have fellowship and compete with my friends."  -Jim Turner, Senior Games Ambassador

Property Tax Listing 2009

January 2, 2009 through February 2, 2009

The annual listing of all property in Lee County begins on January 2, 2009.  Property owners are required to list all personal property they own as of January 1, 2009 and any improvements to real property that were made during 2008.  After February 2, 2009 a late listing penalty of 10% will apply.

Applications for Property Tax Relief for Elderly & Disabled, Disabled Veterans and the NEW Circuit Breaker deferment must be filed along with required documentation no later than June 1, 2009.  All other applications for exemption or exclusion and all applications for Present Use Value must be filed no later than February 2, 2009.  Residents may contact the Lee County Tax Listing Department at 919-718-4661 for assistance.  Please click on the following links for more information.
