Workforce DevelopmentAs county roles, responsibilities and relationships change, so too does the roles, responsibilities and relationships of employees. Lee County desires to prepare employees for these changes by developing a workforce development plan that will create opportunities for employees and strengthen the County workforce. Training and development programs will be designed and implemented to enhance the skills of the County’s employees. By providing training in areas such as information technology, leadership development and diversity, Lee County will attract and retain a highly skilled workforce.
