Networking and Enterprise Services

Networking and Enterprise Services include the support of all organizational networking topologies and equipment necessary to deliver information as well as enterprise applications that are considered mission critical to the organization's communication needs. The network infrastructure includes equipment supporting 18 departments, 375 LAN connected PCs, 21 servers, and switches/routers operating on a Gigabit ethernet backbone. The wide-area network (WAN) consists of 8 connected ADSL remote sites, 7 connected remote fiber sites, and the Lee County Government center. The program also includes all technologies necessary to provide E-mail/Instant Messaging communications, remote access (VPN and dialup), Anti-Virus/SPAM and Intrusion Prevention, and IT Security applications.
