The ability to interact appropriately with others at an early age is very essential to a child’s life. This can be achieved by participating in fun activities with your child. and engaging in family fitness fun.  Children’s Dance Class The Children’s Dance program is designed to offer a supervised and structured recreational environment that promotes diversity through several types of dance.  This program offers instruction in ballet, tap, and basic tumbling.  Weekly one-hour classes are offered. Be Active.                                Disc Golf An 18-hole disc golf course is located at O.T. Sloan Park.  There is no charge to play the course except during tournaments.  There is a local Lee County Disc Golf Association that conducts tournaments during much of the year.  On Mondays, there is a mixed doubles tournament beginning at 6 p.m. during the year when there is enough daylight usually April-September.  A singles tournament is held the 2nd Saturday each month with registrations beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Rotary Club Shelter by the tennis courts.  Cost for tournaments range from $3-$5 depending upon the classification of the participant.  Classifications range from novice to pro.  For more information, contact Chuck at (919)718-0850.
