Services

The District staff provides technical assistance to local landowners for design, installation and implementation of Best Management Practices to improve water quality and conserve natural resources. Assistance is also provided to homeowners for drainage and surface water runoff control.

Two no-till grain drills are owned and maintained by the District for rent to local residents at $7.00/acre. The drills are an excellent means for establishing vegetation without disturbing the soil surface.

Erosion control netting is available from the District for use where vegetation is to be established and the chance of erosion prior to      establishment is likely.
