LEE COUNTY SEEKING REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH CLINICIANS
LEE COUNTY, NC – November 21, 2023 – Lee County Government is requesting proposals from licensed mental health clinicians through the Health and Well-being Initiative as part of the County’s RENEW Program.
RENEW stands for “Resources for Eliminating barriers, creating New Beginnings, and providing Education for an enhanced Well-being.” As part of this program, the Board of Commissioners has allocated $250,000 to be used for contracted services paid directly to approved licensed mental health providers based on an approved list of services.
Approved services include:
- Individual or group mental health counseling sessions by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Individual or group mental health counseling sessions by a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
- Individual or group mental health counseling sessions by a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Individual or group mental health counseling sessions by a Licensed Psychologist
- Individual or group mental health counseling sessions by a Licensed Psychiatrist
- Individual or group mental health counseling sessions by a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS)
- Mental Health assessments by a licensed mental health provider
- MOUD/MAT individual treatment by a licensed mental health provider
Proposals must be enclosed in an opaque sealed envelope addressed to the Lee County Finance Office, Attn: Purchasing Agent, 115 Chatham Street, Sanford, North Carolina 27330. Proposals will be accepted by the Lee County Finance Office until December 15, 2023 at 2:00 PM EST.
