COURTHOUSE PARKING LOT SECURITY GATE IMPLEMENTED AT COURTLAND DRIVE ENTRANCE

LEE COUNTY, NC – August 16, 2023 – The Lee County Courthouse parking lot security gate arm will be activated tomorrow, August 17, which will make the parking lot adjacent to the courthouse and across the street from Board of Elections Office solely available to designated courthouse staff and officials.

The security gate arm was installed to ensure safety and available parking areas for designated Lee County Courthouse staff. This entrance is operated by badge access.

Public parking will continue to be available to visitors in several parking lots off Elm Street.
